My Creative Space

CreativeWednesday ? !!

My Creative day was early this week!   I met with the Tablelands group of the Fibrecrafters  FNQ at the lovely Lake Eacham.....

We had a lovely day and we even had our little friend visit us for lunch....

I have been playing around with more of those yummy Mini Granny Squares......

I'm hoping this will work together for a Beanie to send to the Alice Springs Beanie Festival   or I could turn it into a tea - cosie for this Competition

Told you I was loving these mini's.......this is a bag (WIP) for my stall .  I have finished what I was making with all the lovely pink mini's but I can't show you until a much anticipated new arrival is here  :-)

I searched all the local charity shops today as well looking for a good sized teapot to use for a template for the tea - cosie   No luck with the teapot but I did score this.....

Hope you have a great Creative day also and don't forget to check out more creativity at Kootoyoo     :-)

  1. Great photo of the bird and I loved the idea of the teacosy competition. Hope you enter and show us your entry. The book from the seventies brought back memories! :O))))))

  7. Those mini squares are lovely. Crochet eludes me - I can knit but a crochet pattern is like a foreign language to me! Does it take forever to sew them all together? Doing the 'seaming' is my least favourite part of knitting something.
