Flower Power

Cute as a Button....

Ravenhill  has a tutorial for these gorgeous little flowers and shows lots of ways they can be used.  I have been searching all thru my stash for little bits that I can make up into them.

They are so easy!

The only thing that I did differently was to make the opening a button hole,  just so it would be easier to sew up later after turning inside out and stuffing.  The edges didn't fray so they were easier to sew together neatly.

I can't think of anything cuter on a little girls dress!

EXCEPT....

                           THIS!!   :-)

I saw those buttons on Ravenhill, they are gorgeous aren;t they, I love her work. I like your idea of the buttonhole, that looks much better.

  2. Oh gawd..those puppies get cuter by the minute. Those flowers would make cute pincushions too..

P.S. I am having toruble getting my sister to draw around her foot she keeps forgetting to do it ! This week I promise- even if I have to hold her down and do it myself !

  4. I saw that tutorial too and immediately loved it - could be a fun thing to do with my girls on a rainy (summer) day, I thought. Thanks for the reminder!

  5. If you put the puppy on a girls dress instead of the pincushions you will probably get more than you bargained for!
Great blog Jen, layout and photos are fab.
