Have you seen this new way of tie dying??   How clever and easy is that!! 




I have also spent this week crocheting some Granny Shrugs.   I finished one I had started for my neice and remembered to take a photo of my large one  a-la-Kirsty....

  7. Cool. My most fun moment with dye was doing sun activated dyes on the driveway. I finally did cut up one of my pieces to quilt - but I still have most of them totally intact - after about a decade. Can't bear to cut them. My favorites - symphonies of blue sprinkled with resisted stars. The granny shrugs look WAY more cool than I imagined they would. COOL.

  11. I'm so greatly impressed that you have finished you granny shrug!! It looks great and every time I see one on a blog, I'm inspired to go and start my own one! What ply wool did you use?
    BTW, I'm training to be a counsellor, in my second year now, one more to go!
