I feel like I have been absent for ages! October is a busy month for me, full of birthdays and visitors. Lots of fun but not much time for blogging :-)
I'm joining in with FTF this week because the reason I get a lot of visitors apart from celebrating our birthdays is because our town is Jacaranda Town in October.
The Jacaranda's are everywhere and it is so pretty. Purple as far as the eye can see and purple snow all over the ground.
So this week my FTF is Jacaranda's, enjoy the photos of our lovely town and our beautiful trees....
Pop over to Mrs P's to see more Friday Favourites.

ReplyDeleteOh. Oh. Oh. I never knew. I had NO IDEA. How AMAZING it this-- I am looking at yellow and red and orange and you are looking at flaming PURPLE!!! This is the coolest thing EVER.
ReplyDeleteThe administrative capital in South Africa called Pretoria is famous for Jacarandas that line most of the streets. It's known at the Pink Eye Tree, can get eye irritations from it if you touch the flowers and then your eyes - don't know if that is true. They are so beautiful. We have the flamboyants in yellow and red which are quite similar.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos Jenni! The Jacarandas are just sublime, jewel like, heavenly! The bikini on the tree from your last post is hilarious! Vanessa xxxx
ReplyDeleteAh, my favorite color. They look like purple snow on the ground - like our cherry trees. How lovely in spring when it is snowing in pink!
