Hooray it is finally here!
2012
I don't know why I'm so excited about new year but this one feels good. The last two years have been a bit of an uphill battle for our business and right now I feel like we have turned a corner, roll on 2012!
I have challenged myself to master sock knitting this year. I have started many socks but I NEVER get to finish the pair. Second sock syndrome I've heard it called ;-)
So.....
I have joined in with a ttl mystery sock KAL.
No excuses now! I get a clue every week till the end of January which means I will have a finished pair of socks in February!
I've raided my stash and found this PINK superwash merino from Dragonfly Fibres....yummy!
It was pretty slippery winding it into a ball on my ball winder, hence the messy ball of yarn! Hopefully that won't affect the sock knitting....stay tuned!

I will tell you that I will never, ever make even a first sock. If it doesn't have ears and eyes, I have no patience to finish it. But I will cheer for you EVERY SECOND. Happy New Year, girl - and may that corner prove to be real, and the direction of your movement strong.

I'm not going to be bungee jumping or wing walking anytime soon, this might be the nearest I get to a challenge from now on so in for a penny....!
